The Boothbay Region Seahawks improved to 10-1 on the season with an easy 82-40 win at Oak Hill Thursday night.

Oak Hill was held to one point in the second quarter as Boothbay led at halftime by 33, 45-12.

Steve Reny led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points, followed by Kaleb Ames and Hunter Crocker with 12 each. Sullivan Rice had 11 points (three 3-pointers) and Ben Pearce added 10.

Boothbay will host Spruce Mountain on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 19. The j.v. game will start at 1 p.m. followed by the varsity at 2:30.

Spruce Mountain is 9-2 and seeded sixth in Class B South.
