Nominations for five municipal offices in Boothbay closed at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. Only one of the races will have two contenders – incumbent Charles Cunningham and resident Desiree Scorcia are running for selectman.

Incumbents Stanley W. Lewis, Kevin Anthony and Bruce MacDonald are all running unopposed for their seats on the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery Committee, Community School District Board of Trustees, and CSD School Committee. Alan R. Bellows will run unopposed for Boothbay Region Water District Board of Trustees.

The election will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 6 in the municipal office building.
