The Boothbay Region Historical Society invites all to its annual holiday open house Saturday, Dec. 2 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the museum on 72 Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor.

Please join us as we celebrate the holidays with vintage decorations, festive foods, an art raffle, and more. Check out our holiday discounts on books, maps, photographs, and other gifts. Catch up on society happenings and share your stories of life on the peninsula. 

Special event! Beginning at 10:30 a.m., Richard Plunkett, well-known antiques appraiser and owner of The Wizard of Odds and Ends in Alna, will present a short program on the current world of collecting. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests may present up to three items for appraisal for a donation to the society of $5 for one or $10 for three items. Thank you, Richard, for bringing the “Yellow Brick Road Show” to us.
