The top-seeded Boothbay Region High School girls varsity basketball team, now 20-0, advanced to the finals of the Class C South tournament with a convincing 55-23 win over the 13th-seeded Madison Bulldogs at the Augusta Civic Center on Thursday, Feb. 21. Sophomore Glory Blethen led Boothbay with 20 points and her sister, senior Faith Blethen, added 11 points.

Boothbay will face third-seeded North Yarmouth Academy, now 16-4, in the regional final on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:05 p.m. at the ACC. NYA defeated second-seeded Winthrop, 55-34, in the other regional semifinal on Feb. 21.
