The Boothbay Region Elementary School is requesting that parents return school meal applications by Friday, Oct. 26. BRES receives funding for free and reduced lunches based on the percentage of students who qualify, so the school urges forms to be filled out and returned even if parents do not plan on taking school lunches. Forms were handed out at the beginning of the school year and lost or misplaced forms can be replaced by calling BRES at (207) 633-5097 or Laurie Dickinson at 633-7131.

Laurie Dickinson can answer questions about the form and about eligibility. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) beneficiaries automatically qualify for free and reduced lunches.
