BRHS pays tribute to cross-country and football seniors

Boothbay Region High School honored six senior football players and two senior cross country runners on Oct. 21 at Sherman Field. The student athletes were honored at the final home regular season game.  The senior football players are Jay Hasch, Cameron Crocker, Nick Simpson, James Brewer, John Lucas and Jacob Wilson.

Hasch is the son of Robert and July Hasch. Jay has played three years of varsity football.  He plans on attending college for aviation.

Crocker is the son Ed and Candie Crocker. Cameron has played four years of varsity football. He plans on attending college and studying physical therapy.

Simpson is the son of David Simpson. Nick played four years of varsity football. He plans on attending college.

Brewer is the son of James and Angel Brewer. He has played three years of varsity football. He plans on joining the Air Force.

Lucas is the son of April and Jeff Lucas. John has played three years of varsity football. He plans on pursuing a Class A CDL license for truck driving.

Wilson is the son of Jeff Wilson and the late Stacy Gordon Gerheight. Jacob has played varsity football for three years. He plans on attending a four-year college.

The two cross country seniors are Sam Burnham and Kyle Ames. Burnham is the son of Lisa Burnham and Bruce Burnham. Sam ran cross country for four years. He is undecided about his post-graduation plans.

Ames is the son of Angel and Kevin Ames. Kyle ran cross country for four years. He plans on studying computer engineering next year.
