Chamber to host Business After Hours for Midcoast Humane

Tue, 06/11/2019 - 8:00am

The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce is delighted to host a Business After Hours for Midcoast Humane. The event will take place at Fisherman’s Wharf Inn, 22 Commercial Street, on Wednesday, June 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. If we’re lucky, they may even bring some of their furry friends along!

Join us for an informative and fun evening of learning about Midcoast Humane and the many services they offer. Midcoast Humane is one of Maine’s largest animal shelters, caring and finding homes for 3,500 surrendered, abandoned, and abused animals every year at their shelters in Edgecomb and Brunswick, and helping thousands more stay in their forever homes through community programming, mobile clinics, pet food pantry partnerships, and humane education services. It is the contracted animal shelter of 40 towns, from Falmouth to Washington. Every animal that is cared for by Midcoast Humane receives excellent medical care, spay/neuter and life-saving surgeries, vaccinations, preventatives, and microchips. Midcoast Humane believes that every life is worth saving, and are proud of their 97% Live Release Rate.

The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours are open to members and non-members, and everyone from the business community is encouraged to participate. Please register to attend by calling the Chamber offices at 633-2353.

Since being founded 57 years ago in 1962, the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce has grown into a first-rate, multi-service membership organization that currently serves over 300 members. The Chamber’s mission is to promote a positive business climate by focusing on advocacy, access and leadership.
