LincolnHealth’s Coulombe Center for Health Improvement (CCHI) is seeking nominations for the second annual Coulombe Center Award for Innovation. Nominations are due March 1.

Created in 2018, this annual award highlights non-profit community partner organizations who are doing innovative work and improving the lives of those living and working in Lincoln County. The goal is to further develop innovative programs that already exist locally.

“Haley Bezon, founder of Hearty Roots, received the first ever Coulombe Center Award for Innovation last year,” said Coulombe Center Program Manager Anni Pat McKenney. “Hearty Roots empowers young people to ‘Get off the grid ... and into their hearts’ and helps them foster the best versions of themselves. When considering this year’s nominees, we look forward to learning more about the many innovative and exciting programs here in Lincoln County.”

A panel of volunteers made up of representatives from the St. Andrews Community Committee, CCHI LincolnHealth Steering Committee, and CCHI staff will review nominations and select an awardee in the spring. Nominees may not be self-nominated.

The award winner will be honored at a recognition event in the spring and will receive funds to help further develop their program.
