The luxury motoryacht Kizbel, once known as Yorel, is in Hodgdon Yachts yard for an interior refit.

For the stunning 83-foot-long yacht, it is a homecoming as she returned to the loving hands of the skilled East Boothbay boat builders who crafted her in 1989.

Over the years, she spent many summers in Boothbay Harbor drawing admiring looks from visitors and residents.

The yacht still draws a lot of attention. “She is in great shape. Her hull looks like it did when she was launched,” said Ed Roberts, a yard spokesman.

The yacht's interior is a major winter project for the famed yard as they install a new interior that is being crafted by Hodgdon’s interior division in Richmond.
