Please join the Boothbay Region Garden Club in celebrating the 16th year of our holiday gala, the Festival of Trees, Nov. 30 thru Dec. 2 at the historic Opera House in Boothbay Harbor. The Festival is a signature event within the exciting Boothbay Lights being celebrated from Nov. 18 through Dec. 31.

Our theme for this year’s event is “Merry and Bright.” Our shops will feature items to create the warmth and beauty of the holiday season in your home. An assortment of sweets, gift items, holiday greens, centerpieces, small holiday trees, gardening items, edible birdhouses and items from jewelry to home goods will be offered.

There will be many special raffles this year including a theme tree raffle featuring the tree, lights and all the ornaments to express the joy of the holiday season. In addition, the silent auction will feature decorated Christmas trees and special gift items donated by local artisans and businesses.

So, mark your calendar for this most merry of events. The festival opens at noon Friday, Nov. 30, continuing on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
