The Boothbay Region Garden Club will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. at St Columba's Episcopal Church. Guests are welcome to attend this interesting and informative meeting on Bee School. Garden club member and longtime beekeeper, Linda Redman, will discuss why Bee School might be a good fit for you! Linda will talk about the benefits of learning the art of beekeeping and talk to the group about local honey, what is swarming and other facts about these fascinating flying insects.

In sync with this year's Ikebana theme, this month's Flowers for Fun program will open with Ikebana 101. All club members are encouraged to bring an Ikebana design to the meeting for display and critique.
