Dear Editor:

Deb and I would like to thank everyone for making the Rotary’s Hometown Heroes program a success.

We would like to thank Lynn Tierney, our guest speaker, for her presentation on 9/11.

Thank you, too, to all of the guests, our Hometown Heroes, and the founders of the annual event, Bob and Gloria Walter, for attending.

We want to be sure to thank Angelo, Joe and their families for hosting the event in the beautiful Pemaquid Lodge at Spruce Point Inn. They also donated the proceeds from the event, $2,500, to the Hometown Heroes Fund.

It was beyond our hope on how successful it was for our Hometown Heroes.
