Hearts Ever Young about to hit the stage

Audiences will once again be entertained when Hearts Ever Young (H.E.Y.) takes center stage at Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta on May 20, 21, and 28.   The unique, local mid coast troupe will celebrate their 10th annual performance in: A Decade of Razzle Dazzle.

Composed of the more senior (ages 65 to 97 +) members of the community, the cast has shared their musical and theatrical talents on stage proving ... age doesn't matter and you're never too old! Annually, with a new original show and theme, they have dazzled audiences with a variety of song, dance, and comedy.  Marking their 10th year of  performing, this show will feature many of their best of the best past and new routines.

Under the masterful hand of local music director, Sean Fleming, with his band, The H.E.Y. Makers,  Hearts Ever Young's full chorus of over 45 participants (of soloists, duets, and ensembles) will sing favorites that
include: “No Business Like Show Business,”  “I Remember It Well,”  and ”Play a Simple Melody,”

H.E.Y. dancers will tap to “Steam Heat,’  clog to “Ease on Down the Road,” groove to several jazz /contemporary numbers, and even high kick to the fabulous, “Can-Can!”  Returning is the delightful chair- tap and several specialty numbers.  The patriotic tribute to our USA and armed forces will once again proudly be performed.

With the talented antics of Nick Azzaretti, as Master of Ceremonies, along with several memorable comedic routines, A Decade of Razzle Dazzle is excellent family entertainment. H.E.Y. has  performed to SRO.  Audiences are encouraged to come early to ensure a seat.

Ed Wynne.

The cast, producer/artistic director, Carol Teel; assistant director, Carolee Withee; assistant producer, Charlie Kettell; choreographer, Carol Cirigliano, and assistant choreographer, Linda Winterberg invite you to: A Decade of Razzle Dazzle. Three performances are offered: 2 p.m. Monday, May 20; and at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 and 28.

H.E.Y. is an incorporated, non-profit, charitable organization with 501(c)(3) status.  A suggested $10 donation at the door is greatly appreciated. The Lincoln Theater is at 2 Theater Street.
