Former Boothbay Region High School field hockey standout Sydney Meader scored two goals, had two assists and was named MVP for the North Regional team in the Maine Field Hockey Association’s senior all-star game at Thomas College in Waterville on Saturday, June 30. Fellow BRHS standout and graduate Page Brown also played for the North team.

“Both girls played well and had great games,” said their former BRHS coach Donna Jordan, via a Facebook message to the newspaper.
