Wednesday, Dec. 5 has been designated as a National Day of Mourning to honor former Pres. George H. W. Bush. As such, all federal offices will be closed -  there will not be mail service that day. Subscribers may receive their papers one day later. The Boothbay Register and Wiscasset Newspaper will, however, be available at local locations.
