UPDATE: CMP has updated its time estimates on getting power turned on for most of Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor to 6 p.m. today.

Central Maine Power reports that over 1,300 customers, including over 900 in Boothbay, are still without power following Thursday’s thunderstorm which knocked down trees onto power lines and in some cases, knocked down power poles. In its latest update at 8:48 a.m., Lincoln County customers still without power totaled 3,258.

CMP estimates that many customers will get their power back before 11 a.m. while others may have to wait until 6 p.m.
