    Ever wanted to fish with famous Mainer, Linda Greenlaw, America’s only female swordfishing captain and author of numerous books? Have you dreamed of hosting a private wine tasting in your own home with Sommelier Erica Archer of Wine Wise? Now is your chance! Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) is excited to share a special selection of uniquely Maine items in the Taste for Place: Wine Tasting & Boat Cruise silent auction!

    To view this select silent auction, just visit the Boothbay Region Land Trust website at bbrlt.org and follow the link. All items will be open for public bidding until Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. Guests at the Taste for Place event will have the final opportunity to bid the evening of Thursday, Aug. 9 at Newagen Seaside Inn. Auction items will be won by the highest bidder at the conclusion of the Taste for Place event. Online bidders will be notified if they have won on Aug. 10.

    Want the final opportunity to bid on these great Maine items? Tickets are still available to the Taste for Place: Wine Tasting & Boat Cruise online and at the BRLT office by calling 633-4818. Enjoy an evening of several wine and food courses prepared at the beautiful Newagen Seaside Inn, with expert guidance by Sommelier Erica Archer of Portland, Maine. This night to remember will also include a one-hour boat cruise with Balmy Day Cruises.

    All money raised from this event go directly towards the This Land is Your Land: Campaign for Oak Point Farm. This campaign supports the conservation and public access to Boothbay Region Land Trust's newest preserve, Oak Point Farm, in Boothbay Harbor.
