Heron Valley are an energetic, young traditional band from Scotland, who have serious enthusiasm for the music they play. On Friday, March 8 this energy-fueled group takes center stage in the Chocolate Church Arts Center Annex for a 7:30 p.m. concert.

Their roots lie in Scottish and Irish traditional music, while taking influence from various Folk, Country, and Bluegrass styles. The band: Alex Mackechnie - fiddle, accordion, guitar;  Nick Hamilton - drums, banjo;  Abigail Pryde - vocals and guitar; Euan McNab - bagpipes, whistles, guitar; Arlene Mackechnie - piano; and Callum Cronin - bass guitar. Heron Valley, has made a massive impact on the folk scene in Scotland and the UK. They have released their first album and are in high demand.
