Seahawks compete at Hall-Dale

The Seahawks traveled to Farmingdale May 7 to face Hall-Dale, Richmond, Carrabec, Madison Memorial and Dirigo high schools and Monmouth Academy. Both boys and girls took third place as teams.

Boys’ individual results: Gerald Gagne and Isaac Bradstreet Doughty took sixth and 20th in the 100m dash in 12.44 and 13.93 seconds; Graham Harris, Gagne and Doughty took fourth, seventh and 13th in the 200m dash in 25.44, 25.81 and 29.59; Blake Erhard, Fox Elder and Nathan Chatterton took first, third and fifth in the 800m run in 2:11.11, 2:17.39 and 2:24.61; Harris and Chatterton took second and fourth in the 1600m run in 5:09.13 and 5:16.85.

Quinn Ranta took second, second, third and fourth in the 110m and 300m hurdles, triple jump and high jump with respective results of 18.4 seconds, 49.35 seconds, 35’3” and 5’4”.

The Seahawks took first in the 4x400m relay in 3:57.01.

Brady Harmon, Zack Rollins and Gareth Hodgdon took sixth, 12th and 20th, respectively, in discus with throws of 86’0.5”, 65’10” and 53’8”.

Nick Morley, Harmon, Rollins and Hodgdon took 11th, 18th, 24th, and 30th, respectively, in javelin with throws of 77’2”, 67’3”, 59’3” and 44’7”.

In shot put, Harmon, Morley, Rollins, Hodgdon and Doughty placed 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th and 28th, respectively, with puts of 31’4.5”, 30’2.5”, 28’8.5”, 28’8.5” and 19’1.5”.

Girls’ individual results: Kate Wickline placed second in the 800m run in 2:47.21; Grace Campbell placed fourth in the 1600m run in 6:24.2; Zada Smith placed third in both the 100m and 300m hurdles in 22.12 and 1:09.72; Ava Schlosser placed second in the 1600m race walk in 10:01.64; the Seahawks took third in the 4x400m relay in 5:30.98.

In discus, Riley Sullivan, Emilie Crocker, Emma Hodgdon, Cally Margaret, Kayla Cohen and Cassidy Hicks placed fifth, 10th, 13th, 28th, 29th and 31st, respectively, with throws of 60’5.5”, 55’10.5”, 50’, 38’6.5”, 37’1”, and 31’6”.

Hodgdon, Crocker and Cohen placed fifth,11th and 21st, respectively, in javelin with throws of 56’2”, 50’5” and 26’9”.

In shot put, Riley Sullivan, Emilie Crocker, Emma Hodgdon, Cally Margaret, Kayla Cohen and Cassidy Hicks placed seventh, ninth, 10th, 28th, 29th and 30th, respectively, with puts of 22’6” 21’3”, 21’2”, 14’5.5”, 14’5.5” and 12’11”.

The Seahawks travel to Lisbon on Tuesday, May 14 for their second to last meet before the Mountain Valley Conference Championship.
