How does women’s pay compare to men’s in Maine? Is the incidence of violence against women declining in Maine? Learn about these and other related topics at the June 26 meeting of Indivisible-Boothbay, which will feature guest speaker Eliza Townsend, executive director of the Maine Women's Policy Center and the Maine Women’s Lobby. She will discuss the current status of the Maine Women’s Policy Center's four focus areas for Maine women and girls: Economic Security; Access to Health Care; Civil Rights and Freedom from Discrimination; and Freedom from Violence. In addition, Townsend will share tips on how to be an effective citizen lobbyist.
