Boothbay Region Community Resource Council (BRCRC) is proud to announce that Set For Success founder Sue Burge has been nominated for the 2019 Maine Mother of Achievement Award. This award is presented by American Mother’s, Inc., a national non-profit organization which actively honors the mission of its founders Eleanor Roosevelt, Sara Delano Roosevelt, Mamie Eisenhower, J.C. Penney, and Norman Vincent Peale. Since 1935, American Mother’s has been dedicated to improving the lives of mothers and children in the United States and around the world.

Along with mothers nominated for Mother of the Year, American Mothers recognizes women whose efforts and philanthropic service have made a significant impact and achieved positive outcomes for mothers and children on a local, state and/or national level with the Mother of Achievement award.
