Dear Editor:

As a local business owner working on many of the new redevelopment projects in our area, I would like to address the positive local impact this has had for not only my company but for many of the local tradesmen and building suppliers in our area.

The recent investment in our community by Paul Coulombe has provided steady year-round employment for many local contractors having a direct impact on the economy and residency status for people trying to continue to raise their families here and stay part of our steadily declining local school population.

Keeping our community and economy thriving will increase interest in new business and families wanting to locate here. That will benefit us all. The much needed redevelopment of the east side of the harbor will ensure that positive growth will continue for our town and I encourage everyone to support the proposed zoning changes.
