    Movies at Harbor Theater play seven days a week at 7 p.m., plus Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
     
    “Ant-Man and the Wasp” -  Superheroes that shrink! Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the Ant-Man suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past. And the mystery of how the mother, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), escapes from the Quantum Realm will remain a mystery until it’s revealed on screen. 
    "Ant Man & The Wasp,” rated PG13, plays Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m. Final days.
     
    “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” - Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (“20 Feet from Stardom”), takes an intimate look at America's favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers. A portrait of a man whom we all think we know, this emotional and moving film takes us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination. This is the film we need right now …  how Mister Rogers taught us to realize the potential of all children, and, to once again hear his words:  "kindness can make a world of difference."
     
    The film (94 minutes), rated PG13, plays Friday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. Matinees at 2 p.m. added on Sunday, July 22 and 26.

    Meet the Director Night and Reception
    Mark your calendars!  Kate Novack, director of “The Gospel According to Andre,” will be at Harbor Theater on Thursday, July 26 to introduce her latest ​film that won accolades at the Tribeca and Toronto Film Festivals. A wine and cheese reception provided by Eventide Specialties will start off the festive night at 6:30 p.m.  Daughter of Mary Tanski of Newagen, ​Kate Novack was a producer and writer, with her husband and fellow producer Andrew Rossi, on “Page One: Inside the New York Times nominated  for two Emmy Awards and a Critics Choice Award. Novack will share her insights into the way it all came together and answer audience questions afterwards. Film starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children, and $8 for members (member’s children are $6).
     
     “The Gospel According to Andre,”- an intimate portrait of the extraordinary life of André Leon Talley, the 6-foot-6 flamboyant, witty Vogue magazine editor who rose from humble beginnings in the segregated South to his position in New York City as one of the most influential tastemakers and fashion curators of our times. Also included,  archival footage of young Talley in his hometown of Durham, N.C., shots of supermodels on the runway and other glamourous moments in fashion history. In between are poignant interviews with Talley about his life growing up in the South, attending Brown University, and finding his way to the Big City.
    Entertainment Weekly calls the film a “fabulous fashion documentary” and Boston Globe critic Peter Keough says it’s “exhilarating,” and finds “it unfolds like the pages of a fashion magazine.

    “Hearts Beat Loud” - Widower and aging Brooklyn hipster Frank starts a band with his teenage daughter Sam just before she leaves home to attend college in California. When a song of theirs finds success online, it complicates Frank's attempts to let go of his dreams of stardom and allow his daughter to find her own path in life.  A father and daughter form an unlikely songwriting duo in the summer before she leaves for college. Rated PG-13/run time: 1 hour, 37 minutes. Final screenings are at 2 and 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19.
     
    “On Chesil Beach”Based on Ian McEwan's novel. In 1962 England, a young couple find their idyllic romance colliding with issues of sexual freedom and societal pressure, leading to an awkward and fateful wedding night. On Chesil Beach presents a well-acted and solidly crafted adaptation of a small yet resonant story with deceptively rich subtext.  Stars Saoirse Ronan, Billy Howle, Anne-Marie Duff, Adrian Scarborough, Emily Watson, and Samuel West. Rated R/run time 1 hour, 50 minutes. Plays at 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22.

    “Pope Francis - A Man of His Word”Wim Wenders' new documentary is intended to be a personal journey with Pope Francis, rather than a biographical documentary about him. The pope's ideas and his message are central to this documentary, which sets out to present his work of reform and his answers to today's global questions. From his deep concern for the poor and wealth inequality, to his involvement in environmental issues and social justice, Pope Francis engages the audience face-to-face and calls for peace. Rated PG/run time 1 hour, 36 minutes. Plays at 2 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 and at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 26.
