The Grinch” - Based on the classic Dr. Seuss classic story, The Grinch lives a solitary life inside a cave on Mt. Crumpet with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. With a cave rigged with inventions and contraptions for his day-to-day needs, the Grinch only sees his neighbors in Who-ville when he runs out of food. When the Whos declare they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, the Grinch realizes there is only one way for him to gain some peace and quiet: he must steal Christmas. To do so, he decides he will pose as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve - even going so far as to trap a lackadaisical misfit reindeer to pull his sleigh.

Meanwhile, down in Who-ville, Cindy-Lou Who-a young girl overflowing with holiday cheer-plots with her gang of friends to trap Santa Claus as he makes his Christmas Eve rounds so that she can thank him for help for her overworked single mother. Will Cindy-Lou achieve her goal of finally meeting Santa Claus? Will the Grinch succeed in silencing the Whos' holiday cheer once and for all?Featuring the Voice Talents of Benedict Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones, Kenan Thompson, Cameron Seely, and Angela Lansbury. “Green Book” - Viggo Mortensen plays an Italian-American bouncer from the Bronx who is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley ((Mahershala Ali), a world-class African-American pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South. They must rely on "The Green Book" a guide to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. Confronted with racism and danger - as well as unexpected humanity and humor - they are forced to set aside differences to survive and thrive on this difficult journey. (Rated PG 13, CC & AD, 130 minutes) "Green Book" plays Friday, Saturday, Tuesday (New Year's Day) Wednesday and Thursday  (12/28-1/3), evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

“First Man” -  On the heels of their six-time Academy Award winning smash, La La Land, Oscar winning director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling team up for Universal Pictures' First Man, the riveting story of NASA's mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. A visceral, first-person account based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie explores the sacrifices and the cost on Armstrong and on the nation of one of the most dangerous missions in history. Claire Foy (The Crown)  is nominated for a Golden Globe award for her portrayal of Armstrong’s wife, Janet. “Home Alone” -  The highly successful and beloved family comedy about a young boy named Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) who is accidentally left behind when his family takes off for a vacation in France over the holiday season. Once he realizes they've left him home alone, he learns to fend for himself and, eventually must protect his house against two bumbling burglars (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) who are planning to rob every house in Kevin's suburban Chicago neighborhood. Though the film's slapstick ending may be somewhat violent, Culkin's charming presence helped the film become one of the most successful ever at the time of its release.
