As friends, family and fellow musicians gathered recently to celebrate the life of the late Arthur Webster, it was announced that a memorial fund has been set up in both Arthur Webster’s and Danny Beal's names.

The objective of this fund, is to help local youth, who would like to explore music, by assisting with the cost of lessons or the purchase of an instrument.

Both Webster and Beal, who were close personal friends and local musical icons, were fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to learn to play music in their youth. Both went on to become professional musicians, bringing hours of joy to so many in this region. They also so enjoyed sharing their talents and time with the youth of this community.

It is the hope that an annual gift can be awarded to a local student who is sincerely interested in exploring their interests in music.

Anyone who would like to donate to this wonderful tribute, in Arthur’s and/or Danny's memories, are kindly asked to do so through the Opera House, who will be administering the fund.
