“The Zone of Interest” - (PG-13; 1 hour, 46 minutes - in German with English subtitles) -  Nominated for 5 Academy Awards: Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best International Feature Film, Best Sound, Best Achievement in Directing, and Best Adapted Screenplay. The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp. Starring Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall). Final showtime Thursday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. 

“Giselle” - Dutch National Balleturs) - (2 hours) - The ultimate romantic ballet, performed by former Bolshoi Ballet principals Olga Smirnova and Jacopo Tissi, who fled Russia and joined the Dutch National Ballet, where this production is filmed. The young peasant girl Giselle falls in love with Albrecht, a nobleman already betrothed who hides his true identity from her. When she learns the truth, she becomes mad and dies. Against her own will, Giselle joins the Wilis: vengeful spirits of jilted brides who condemn Albrecht to dance until he dies of exhaustion… Giselle touches upon the great and universal romantic themes, and Rachel Beaujean and Ricardo Bustamante’s acclaimed production pays tribute to one of the oldest and greatest works of classical dance. Playing for two screenings only, Thursday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m. and Friday, March 1 at 2 p.m. Tickets: $15 adult, $13 LT member, $5 youth.

“The Color Purple” - (PG-13; 2 hours, 21 minutes) - Oscar Nominee for Best Supporting Actress, Danielle Brooks (Sofia). A must see on the big screen. A story of love and resilience based on the novel and the Broadway musical, “The Color Purple” is a decades-spanning tale of one woman’s journey to independence. Celie faces many hardships in her life, but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. Playing Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at 2 and 7 p.m., Sunday, March 3 at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 6 at 2 and 7 p.m., and Thursday, March 7 at 2 p.m.
