All Saints by-the-Sea, Southport, and St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, Boothbay Harbor, are pleased to offer Your Life with the Psalms, a morning presentation at St. Columba’s, on Saturday, June 29, 9 a.m. to noon.

Jewish and Christian people throughout the ages have sought wisdom from the Psalms because they speak to the faithful, the seeker, the doubter, the hopeful, the troubled, and the joyful. Please join us to study the Psalms as prose, poetry, prayer, and music. Hear the Psalms as read directly from a 400-year-old King James Version of the Bible printed in 1613, recently gifted to All Saints.

In our hurried and noisy world, this morning presentation will offer a sacred space and grace-filled time so that you may experience a deeper and more fruitful relationship between you and God through the Psalms.

The morning reflection will be led by The Rev. Dr. Virginia M. Sheay, assisting clergy of Trinity Church, Solebury, Pennsylvania and summer parishioner of All Saints by-the-Sea.

Eighteen of her 44 years in ordained ministry were as rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ewing, New Jersey. Her experience also includes 15 years as organist and choir director and she is currently a popular retreat leader mostly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
