Oxbow's Farmhouse Brewery is celebrating the release of Momoko, a barrel-aged farmhouse ale with peaches, with live music and a food truck on Friday, July 28 at its Tasting Room in Newcastle.  Momoko is a tart and juicy farmhouse ale that is produced by fermenting fresh-pressed peaches with a blend of barrel-aged ales.

In celebration of Momoko's release, there will be free live music from local band Driving Charlie Home and delicious food available for purchase from the Burgers & Freys Food Truck.  The band released their first album, Coffee Shop, last December. Band members Olivia de Lisle, co-owner of Reel to Reel Music in Damariscotta, and Caleb Jones will perform.   They are hoping some of the talented musicians who work in the Oxbow Tasting Room will also join in. Check out these links:  www.facebook.com/caljonesmusic/ and  https://drivingcharliehome.bandcamp.com/album/coffee-shop.

Momoko will be available on draft and in bottles to enjoy at the Tasting Room starting at noon.  The Tasting Room is open seven days a week and from noon to 9 PM on Food Truck Fridays.  Bottles can also be purchased to go.  Burgers & Freys should be set up and ready to serve food by 4:30 and the music should kick off around 5.

Oxbow's farmhouse brewery is located on 18 acres in Newcastle at  274 Jones Woods Road. Parking is limited — carpooling is encouraged. For more information: www.oxbowbeer.com.
