Boothbay Region High School celebrated homecoming in style Sept. 15-23. With unique floats, seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen alike threw candy to and at parade onlookers celebrating the traditional homecoming with them. Police cruisers, fire trucks and an ambulance followed along in the procession, which began at the town office and ended in the school’s far parking lot where a two-story pile of brush and pallets and the odd tiki torch awaited ignition in the field.

Pickup football and soccer were played and memories were shared, along with the occasional, brief silence, as classmates enjoyed the company of friends and family.
