Boothbay Railway Village hosted its fifth annual Family Harvest Days on Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30. Both days featured live demonstrations at the blacksmith forge and on the barn frame loom. Lyric Meadow Farm featured its barnyard animals and Growing Rabbit Tree sheared two of its German angora rabbits for all to see. Other activities included live cider-pressing, corn husk toymaking, printing with potatoes, riding the barrel train, and a hayride to pick a pumpkin to decorate.

Sunday also featured Shadow Hill Farm which introduced guests to its alpacas and Two Coves Farm which had its sheepdogs demonstrating herding. Artist Anne Alexander did live demonstrations of woodcarving.
